Sell surplus copper wire and cable
Copper content matters, but a labeled, usable wire or cable reel is not automatically a scrap lot. Show the product details first so the appropriate evaluation route can be considered.
MAKE YOUR LOT EASY TO BUY
The right cable details and photos make the next commercial step clearer. Send what you have; not every field needs to be perfect.

Copper cable reels and THHN wire
If your copper cable reels are labeled THHN/THWN-2 or another wire type, photograph the reel tag and a readable stretch of jacket print. A complete specification, identifiable manufacturer and usable continuous length help distinguish a resale candidate from material valued only for recoverable metal. Share AWG or kcmil, conductor count, insulation and voltage—not just estimated copper weight.
Full reels, partial reels and cut lengths
Provide separate counts and length estimates for each format. A partial reel can be useful when the remaining footage is clear; a mixed pile of short, unmarked cuts is harder to evaluate as a product. Acceptance depends on the lot.
If it is really scrap
Burned, crushed, contaminated, stripped or unidentifiable material should not be described as ready-to-use surplus. The intake form lets you flag this condition; a product offer or recycling route cannot be assumed in advance.
