Get your surplus cable ready to sell
A good inventory list does not need to be perfect. Start with the facts you can verify, then add photos that show both product identity and condition.
PREPARE YOUR CABLE LOT
The right cable details and photos make the next commercial step clearer. Send what you have; not every field needs to be perfect.

Describe each line item
Record manufacturer, part number, construction, conductor material, size, number of conductors, voltage and insulation. Add reel count, length per reel or cut, and whether the footage is measured or estimated.
Photograph useful evidence
Show the overall lot, reel faces, labels, jacket print, exposed ends when already accessible, packaging and any damage. Avoid cutting or stripping product merely to take a photo.
Add the commercial context
State the ZIP code, where material is stored, available loading equipment, desired timeline, and who can authorize release. A spreadsheet, packing list or bill of materials can speed up review.
